چکیده The present research was conducted to evaluate the effects of salinity on two stress hormones, mineral elements and physiological changes of two strawberry cvs 'Queen Elisa' and 'Kurdistan'. Treatments included 0, 5, 10 and 20 mM NaCl. The highest concentration of abscisic acid ABA and jasmonic acid were measured under the maximum level of salt stress for both cultivars and were totally higher in 'Kurdistan' leaves compared to 'Queen Elisa'. A close relation between ABA, proline, leaf relative water content, root, crown and shoot fresh and dry weight was observed. Salinity increased root and leaf Na+ and Cl-, and leaf Ca2+ concentrations, but reduced root and leaf K+ concentrations in both cultivars. It was concluded that 'Kurdistan' could not maintain a proper K+ uptake system and maintenance of leaf K+ content was more evident in 'Queen Elisa'.
