Polymateric materials are promissing materials for being used in gas separation membrane area. In spite of all merits of polymeric membranes, permeability/selectivity trade-off reduces their potencial usage in industrial separation processes [1]. Mixed matrix membrane (MMM) fabrication which is an effective approach to prevail this weakness has been introduced by Paul and Kemp in 1973 [2,3]. They studied the effect of zeolite 5A addition into polydimethyl siloxane in separation of CO2 and CH4 gases. TiO2 filler is an inexpensive and available good candidate for incorporation in polymeric matrix but its inorganic nature can create some incompatibility with polymer matrix [4]. Therefore TiO2 can be joined into MOF structures which are in more compromise with organic polymers due to their organic ligands. In this regard, TiO2@UiO-66 is constructed and embeded into poly(ether-block-amide) to provide a membrane for examining in gas separation. The prepared MMM exhibits high CO2 permeation of 521.25 Barrer with CO2/N2 selectivity of 55.41. these values are 181.48 Barrer and 28.33 for pure poly(ether-block-amide) membrane. The filler and MMM are characterized through XRD, FT-IR, TGA and SEM to obtain appropriate information of their properties.
