Mefenamic acid, which includes non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is used in the treatment of pain, arthritis and dysmenorrhea [1]. Coumarins are polyphenolic compounds This group is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, anti-allergic, anti-fungal, anti-HIV and anti-cancer is also used [2]. Considering the unique properties of mefenamic acid and the specific properties of coumarins, we decided to synthesize a compound that includes both functional groups.
