چکیده Recently, a novel type of composites, denoted as bimetallic nanoparticle (NP)/metal-organic framework (MOF), has attracted widespread attention in homogeneous catalysis. metal-organic framework Due to their low densities, high surface areas, large pore volumes, high porosity, as well as adjustable pore sizes and tunable pore functionalities, have been widely explored for the gas adsorption and separation, catalysis, sensing, drug delivery [1]. The pyridopyrimidine molecule is a notable pharmacophore in drug design, and allied with an extensive range of pharmaceutical properties. synthesis of pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives have expanded noteworthy attention of the medicinal chemists due to its extensive variety of pharmacological applications, namely anticancer agents anti-diarrheal agents anti-oxidant agents antimicrobial activity, , analgesic and anti-inflammatory [2]. The indole nucleus, on the other hand, is prevalent in many heterocycles with antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer and anti-tubercular activities [3]. In this work, we summarized the development of bimetallic Fe/Zr–MOF-N(CH2PO3H2) catalysts, and synthesis of pyrimidp[2,3,d] pyrimidine compound with indole moieties and their applications in various homogeneous catalysts in Scheme 1.
