چکیده Nowadays, post-modification method is a versatile strategy for the preparation of catalyst, storage, absorbent, sensor. Among the recent application in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are created due to modular structure and adjustable porous crystal [1]. The structure of MOFs structure is composed of metal or metallic cluster coordinated by polyhedral organic ligands [2]. Increasing or increased in quantity of level area, pore volume and flexibility of architecture of metal-organic frameworks has revealed a new field in research that is mainly aimed at preparing a new framework of materials and research their applications in catalytic processes, gas separation, adsorption and drug delivery [3]. For this purpose, post-modification method is known new architecture for preparation of heterogeneous catalyst. Therefore, this method is a general discussion of the potential benefits of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as a heterogeneous catalyst [4]. However, post-modification of metal-organic frameworks show improved catalytic efficiency [5]. In this work, we overview the recent developments of catalysis at single metal sites in MOF-based materials with emphasis on their structures and applications for the synthesis of organic compounds with biological activates (Scheme 1).
