Taking advantage of the novel properties and favorable dimensions of nanomaterials is particularly meaningful in analytical techniques in which higher sensitivity, lower analysis times, higher extraction efficiencies, and small environmental impacts are desired. In Analytical Chemistry, various nanosystems have been utilized for the development of new methodologies. Magnetic nanomaterials with the ability to be controlled using external magnetic fields have opened new doors for the development of new sample preparation methods. In addition, magnetic nanomaterials have become one of the most interesting materials in the development of sensors and biosensors. Magnetic nanomaterials have attracted high attention in the development of novel magnetic sorbents for forensic chemistry, environmental monitoring, magnetic digital microfluidics, bioanalysis, and food analysis. In addition, they have a wide application as sensing materials in the development of giant magnetoresistive sensors, biosensors, electrochemical sensors, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy sensors, resonance light scattering sensors, and colorimetric sensors. The main purpose of this Special Issue is to provide the readers with a comprehensive review of the recent application of magnetic nanomaterials in Analytical Chemistry
