چکیده
|
This research is aimed at systematic investigation of electrochemical responses of p-type bismuth telluride-based thermoelectric materials in a NaCl solution. A nanocomposite with dispersed MoS2 nanoparticles and a single-phase alloy, which were produced by mechanical alloying and hot extrusion were studied. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and polarization tests indicated that the nanocomposite specimen exhibits a superior passive behavior compared to the single-phase alloy. Mott eSchottky analysis showed that the passive layers of both nanocomposite and single-phase specimens had a n-type semiconducting behavior, while their bulk semiconducting behavior were identified as ptype
