چکیده Considering the increase of global warming, it is irrefutable that more research about thermal comfort in outdoor spaces and mitigating urban heat islands in big cities is needed. Urban spaces and historical sites are more important due to being visited and used by more tourists and people. Urban spaces could perform interactivity and vitality by creating and protecting thermal comfort which is a subset of environmental comfort parameters. The goal of this research is to describe the effect of changing thermo-logical parameters on pedestrians´ comfort and urban spaces interactivity. This research intends to understand which factors of thermal comfort parameters have changed through the transformation of Bu-Ali Sina avenue to the paving and how they create thermal comfort in urban spaces. Are these changes have been useful or not? Hence the most significant physical parameters in outdoor spaces have been obtained by study and analyzing parameters, their correlation, connections and effects on thermo-logical parameters through library studies and comparing the condition of case study before and after transformation and recreation of Bu-Ali Sina pavement to reconsider the impact of these changes on mitigating urban heat islands and thermal comfort of pedestrians theoretical and observational.
