This article explores Sama's position in mystical Sufi texts. At the beginning, the author presented a definition of Sama and the reasons for human attachment to music, and the background and importance of Sama in Sufism and different views on the meaning of Sama. Then, he included some discussions on good voice and classes of listeners in Sama, the benefits and customs of Sama. Quran verses and the Prophets’ Hadiths about Sama, Sama from the perspective of Sufi researchers such as Hajveriand Qushayrī and Ghazali and Khajah Abdullah Ansari and Ahmad Ghazaliare among the other parts of this article. This section shows their rejection or acceptance of Sama. At the end of Sama, the four main classes of listeners including beginners, public people, special people and the special of specials were extracted from the book Allama by Nasr Siraj and it was explained that who were attracted to Sama of odes and poem verses.
