In this paper, Fe3O4 -GO nanocomposite were synthesized using a co-precipitation method, and then annealed at two temperatures 100 and 200°C for 2 h. The structure and surface characteristics of Fe3O4-GO nanocomposite was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transsmition electron microscopy (TEM), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy analysis. After annealing, the nanoparticles (NPs) were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The FTIR and XRD results indicated that Fe3O4 NPs were converted to γ-Fe2O3 (maghemite) by annealing at 200°C for 2 h. The XRD results shows the grian size of samples does not change significantly and to be similar the refrence sample (without annealing).
