چکیده	One of the main goals of the any economics in its development programs is the improving of the economics conditions for people and also reduces the poverty of the society. In short term usually to solve the poverty it is good to apply a subsidy payment policy on basic goods to the consumers. But in the long term government must protect of the poverty groups by providing a necessary revenue acquisition condition. So it is a very significant problem in any society and all countries try to reduce poverty in urban society and especially rural society in developing and third world countries. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a consistent series on poverty and inequality from 1982 to 2011. In this paper we will consider the poverty and income inequality in urban and rural societies in Iran during the last three dictates from 1982 to 2011.
