Title Synthesis and characterization of a magnetic catalyst based on tin ferrite and its application in cross-coupling reactions
Type Presentation
Keywords Hetereogeneeous Catalyst; Magnetic Nanoparticles, SnFe2O4, Suzuki reaction
Abstract This project aims to address the challenges associated with the synthesis of biphenyl compounds through cross-coupling reactions, such as long reaction times, low yields, and the necessity of organic solvents for catalyst separation. By utilizing the proposed catalyst, we hope to overcome these issues. Heterogeneous palladium nanocatalysts immobilized on tin ferrite magnetic nanoparticles were characterized by various techniques such as FT-IR, TGA-DSC, EDX, ICP-OES, Elemental Mapping, SEM, TEM, and VSM.
