Abstract By the emergence of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) as covalently linked two- and three-dimensional organic structures, these materials have gained more interest. These versatile, reticular, sustainable and environmentally friendly materials are highly promising and have unique properties such as high thermal and chemical stability, regulatable physicochemical properties, metal-free and flexible scaffolds. Recently, COFs were applied as robust catalyst in many of organic transformations such as oxidation/reduction, coupling reactions, photocatalytic processes and multi-component reactions [1, 2]. According to literature, tetrahydropyridine containing heterocycles have a brilliant background in the many researches such as natural products, biological compounds, pharmaceutical molecules and many of miscellaneous areas [3]. Herein, we used a new ionic magnetic COF as catalyst for the synthesis of tetrahydropyridine derivatives (Scheme).
