Title Development of a Delphi-Based Decision Support System for Locating Industrial Projects Based on Sustainable Development (Case Study of the Propylene Chains in Petrochemical Industries of Iran)

Abstract In this study, due to the importance of the Propylene chain in the petrochemical industry in Iran, the location of petrochemical industry has been investigated. The real-time spatial Delphi method has been used to locate important Propylene chains. It is like a decision support system for locating industrial projects. This report was made in two rounds and with the cooperation of 11 experts in the first round and the cooperation of 7 experts in the second. Eventually, the location of Polypropylene, Acrylonitrile, Propylene Oxide, and Acrylic Acid became the same and all converged in a circle to the center of Assaluyeh city and the location of Phenol Aceton converged to a circle to the center of Bandar Kangan city. A real-time spatial Delphi software has alsobeen developed for this research.
