Abstract
|
Nebulizers have a wide range of applications in analytical chemistry. In chemical analysis, the main aim of nebulizers is to create an aerosol in order to prepare the sample liquid for analysis. A piezoelectrically micropump that can produce isolated droplets and be changed by using an appropriate pulse generator is often used in discrete droplet creation. This chapter demonstrates the evolution of design as well as some of the most recent uses.
