Abstract
|
Owing to the increasing interest in the nanotechnology field, the development of fast and inexpensive methods for the synthesis of nanomaterials is an ongoing need. To date, various methods have been developed for this purpose. Aerosol-assisted nanomaterial synthesis holds great potential owing to the unique properties of products. This method is a nonconventional application of nebulizers and is generally divided into two main categories: liquid-phase aerosol-assisted nanomaterial synthesis and gas-phase aerosol-assisted nanomaterial synthesis. This chapter presents an overview of the fundamentals as well as applications of aerosol-assisted nanomaterial synthesis.
