Title Decarboxylative Cross-coupling Reaction between Aryl Carboxylic Acids using BF@Propyl/Tris/Pd as a Novel Catalyst
Type JournalPaper
Keywords Aryl carboxylic acids, Biaryls, Decarboxylation, Heterogeneous catalyst.
Abstract The present study provides a practical and safe cross-coupling strategy for the synthesis of biaryls via decarboxylation of aryl carboxylic acids. In this method, BF@Propyl/Tris/Pd was used as a new catalyst to synthesize biaryls. The structural and morphological characteristics of the catalyst were investigated by FT-IR, EDX, XRD, TGA, and SEM analyses. This catalyst system has some advantages, such as good stability, excellent workup, and reusability. We used it as a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst by easily separating it from the medium of reaction.
