Title Process optimization and degradation pathway for electrocatalytic degradation‎ of 2,4,6-trinitrophenol by graphite modified lead dioxide ‎anode
Type Presentation
Keywords Electrocatalytic degradation, Electrodeposition, Lead dioxide electrode, 2,4,6-‎trinitrophenol (TNP).
Abstract A novel idea for the electrochemical mineralization of ‎environmentally ‎persistent 2,4,6-‎trinitrophenol(TNP) has ‎been investigated in aqueous solutions on the ‎graphite/β−PbO2 (G/β− PbO2) ‎anode by ‎electrocatalytic ‎degradation method.‎ This anode shows high ‎overvoltage for oxygen evolution, long service lifetime and excellent ‎electrocatalytic ‎degradation efficiency for persistent organic pollutants.
