Title Immobilized Na 2 WO 4 .2H 2 O on Arginine Modified Bentonite (Bentonite@L‐Arginine‐WO 3 ): An Efficient and Sustainable Catalyst for the C−C Bond Formation

Abstract In this study, we have reported the preparation of arginine modified bentonite supported WO3, bentonite@ L-arginineWO3.The structure of the functionalized bentonite was characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption–desorption isotherm techniques. Thereafter, this new material has been applied as a sustainable catalyst in the C C bond formation and also heterogeneity of the catalyst was examined by a hot filtration test. Moreover, this catalyst can be easily recovered by centrifuge and reused for at least four cycles without any significant loss of catalyst activity.
