Keywords Electrochemical Evidence in Mechanism of Toxicity of Mefenamic Acid Overdose in the Presence of Glutathione and N-Acetyl-LCysteine
Abstract In this study, the electrochemical oxidation of mefenamic acid was investigated in the presence of glutathione and N-acetyl-L-cysteine. The results revealed that the mefenamic acid was involved in a catalytic reaction with glutathione and N-acetyl-L-cysteine. This investigation presents some electrochemical evidence for the mechanism of action of these compounds in mefenamic acid poisoning.
