Title The status of safety organs and liver enzymes of ross broiler chickens in effect in ovo injection and administration of Colloidal nano silver and Licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) in embryonic and growing period compared to antibiotic
Type Presentation
Keywords liver enzymes , ross , Licorice extract
Abstract This experiment for investigate the in ovo injection effects of Colloidal nano silver (CNS) and licorice extract (LE) (Glycyrrhiza glabra), in different levels, on immune system, some hematological characteristics and liver Enzymes of ross broiler chickens with Eight hundred Fertilized commercial eggs (55 weeks old broiler breeder, Ross-308) in completely randomized design with 10 treatments contains five replicates (20 eggs per replicate) were assigned. 9 treatments include of: three levels of CNS (0, 30 and 60 ppm) and LE (0, 100 and 200 ppm) combined with each other respectively, and Two control groups (non-injected and injected with sterile-distilled water) were also included. The sterile-distilled water was used for solutions. All solutions were injected into the yolk sac on incubation day zero. In the end of seven days old after hatch, the blood samples were taken from wing vein with syringes. Data were pooled and analyzed by using the general linear model of SAS, and means were separated by Duncan multiple range test (p<0/05).The mean hemagglutinin inhibition (HI) antibody titer was significantly high in the group has been treated with 60 ppm CNS and 200 ppm LE (P>0.05). Also this treatment had positive effect on the serum AST and ALT concentration, and WBC count. The highest levels of CNS and LE combined together caused not meaningful increase RBC count. The level of 60 ppm CNS and levels of 100 and 200 ppm LE combined with each other had much more affirmative effect on Lymphocytes percent than other treatment. As a result, in ovo feeding of the highest level of CNS and different levels of LE in this experiment could have positive and useful effects on ross broiler chickens immune system.
