Abstract
|
Dixon has proved that each semi-variety can be characterized by homogeneous polynomials. Also, it has been proved that each variety of Banach algebras between the variety of all IQ-algebras and the variety of all IR-algebras can not be characterization by homogeneous polynomials alone . In this paper, according to the structure and definition of , *-varieties of C*-algebras have been introduced. In addition_* it will be see that each *-variety of C*-algebras can be characterized by homogeneous polynomials alone. It is shown that each *-variety of C*-algebras has a unique core Also, we shall introduce the cores of some well-known *-varieties.
