Abstract
|
In this study, PVDF/graphene nanosheets (GNS) nanocomposite films were prepared by solution casting method with 1wt.% graphene nanosheets contents by mixing of GNS in a solution of dimethylformamide (DMF) and polyvinylidene fluoride. The prepared nanocomposites were investigated by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction techniques (XRD), showed an obvious α to β phase transformation compared to pure PVDF. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrographs showed spherolitic crystal structure of PVDF. The size of the spherolites in PVDF nanocomposites decreased by adding of GNS (1wt.%) into the PVDF composite.
