Abstract
|
In this work, polycarbonate and polycarbonate-TiO2 nanocomposite film were prepared. Initially polycarbonate was dissolved in dichloromethane. Then TiO2 nanoparticles were added to the solution. The effect of LF O2 plasma (50 Hz) on the hydrophilicity, surface morphology of polycarbonate and polycarbonate-TiO2 nanocomposite has been studied. The structural of samples were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. Surface properties of polycarbonate and polycarbonate–TiO2 nanocomposite films were studied by contact angle measurement and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The water contact angle significantly decreased from 90° to 56° after plasma treated
