Abstract The brown mite is one of the most important species of the family Tetranychidae. It is reported from Iran and around the world on some host plants. In 2013-2014, for the first time, it is observed on a plant Geranium mollein Bu Ali-Sina University, Hamedan Iran with a remarkable frequency more than on sweet-cherry, sour-cherry, apple and plum. Regard to this, recently the mite has been populated in some parts of Iran particularly in Hamedan. Therefore, the applied of natural enemies and other management methods would be considered to control mite for its sizable increasing on new hosts.
