Trustworthiness concept was considered in different academic fields and perspectives and identified as a key factor in success of persons and organizations. Besides, service orientation is an individual tendency that affects interpersonal behaviors and job performance. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between trustworthiness and service orientation and determine the possibility of predictability trustworthiness on the basis of service orientation characteristic. Trustworthiness and service orientation questionnaires were used in this study. 1176 participants answered these questionnaires. To analyze the data, Cronbach's alphas using spss statistical software, structural equation modeling (SEM) method using lisrel 8.5 were used. The results of present study showed that trustworthiness characteristic and its 3 components (honesty, conscientiousness and personal values) had a significant and high relationship with service orientation characteristic and its 3 components (sociability, helping and humanism). Based on the results of this study, it could be said with high confidence that service orientation could be an appropriate variable for predicting trustworthiness trait
