There are many crystal structures in which a protonated amine is attached to the 18-crown-6 [1-4] .The attachment of big molecules to the 18-crown-6 through a protonated amine group has also been reported [5,6]. In this work we report the synthesis, characterization and crystal structure of a new complex formed between a fully protonated symmetric triamine and two 18-crown-6 molecules. In the crystal structure of the complex, the fully protonatedBis(3aminopropyl)amine forms a complex with 18-crown-6 molecule via N- Indeed each of the three protons of each NH3 + group has interaction with one of the six oxygen atoms of the crown ring.
