Electrochemical oxidation of etanolic leaf extract of Aloysia Citriodora was studied using cyclic voltammetry. Antioxidant properties were assessed via DPPH radical-scavenging, correlated with redox potential. Verbascoside and apigenin as the main components in this extract, were purified using column chromatography (ethyl acetate/n-hexane 20/80) and characterized with IR, LC/MS, and UV/visible techniques.
