In this study, a newhyperbolic tangentmodel has been proposed for analyzing adsorption kinetic at the solid-solution interface. The most important advantage of the proposed model is its ability to predicate the equilibrium timeof adsorption,which is very vital to optimize the cost of the adsorption systemdesign. The ability of the new model for modeling of adsorption kinetic and predication of the equilibriumtimewas tested by using of the generated data points based on the mixed 1,2-order equation (MOE). The new model was applied for fitting of the reported experimental data. The obtained results show that the new model can analyze the experimental data very well.
