In this work, we have used ZnO nanoparticles with average size 50 nm and polycarbonate to produce nanocpmposite films. Initially polycarbonate was dissolved in dichloromethane. Then ZnO nanoparticles with were added to the solution. The nanocomposite films were obtained by solvent evaporation method at 40oC in an oven. X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD), FTIR spectroscopy were used for characterization of polycarbonate and polycarbonate -ZnO nanocomposite. UV-Vis was used to study the induced changes of the optical properties of polycarbonate and polycarbonate-ZnO nanocomposite
