In this article, we investigate the construction of a computational method for solving Volterra's popu- lation model. The method rstly converts these types of Volterra's population model to Volterra integral equations and then utilizes the Guassian function (GAs) as a basis in the discrete collocation method to estimate the solution. The proposed method is meshless, since it is based upon the scattered data and does not require any background mesh or domain elements. The method is e ective and its algorithm can be easily implemented. The validity and effciency of the new technique are demonstrated through a numerical example.
