Abstract

Task-specific development of chemical methodologies for synthesis of target molecules may be achieved via rational design, applying a suitable procedure and reactants [1]. Heterocyclic moieties had been used as important building blocks within a wide range of medicinal and biological active molecules [2]. Among of oxygen and nitrogen hetreocycles, the N-amino-2-pyridones and pyrano [2,3-c]pyrazoles, had been shown, anticancer, anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, antimicrobial, anti-HIV, antimalarial, anti-tumor, antibacterial, antifungal and antitumor properties [3]. Biological-based uric acid with phosphorus acid tags (UAPA) as an efficient catalyst was successfully used for the synthesis of 1-amino-6-hydroxy-2-oxo-4-phenyl-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile via a multi-component reactions (MCRs) of various aromatic aldehyde, ethyl cyanoacetate and hydrazine under solvent free condensation
