Abstract

Functionalized nanomagnetic catalysts represent paramount characteristics such as high surface to volume ratios, high surface energies, enhanced dispersion, high catalytic performance, easy recoverability, and reusing without loss of their catalytic activity which these parameters make them versatile apparatus in the different fields of science [1-2]. Among the functionalized pyridine systems, 2-amino-3-cyano pyridine derivatives are prevalent. 2-Amino-3-cyano pyridines are versatile intermediates towards the synthesis of varied heterocyclic molecules such as vitamins [3]. In this study, we have reported the synthesis and catalytic application of a novel magnetically separable catalyst at the preparation of amino-3-cyano pyridines via vinylogous anomeric based oxidation
