چکیده

Dihydropyrano[c]chromenes and their derivatives are of significant attention as they have a broad range of biological properties1 such as anticancer, anticoagulant, diuretic, spasmolytic and anti-anaphylactic activities.2,3 Furthermore, they can be used as cognitive enhancers for the treatment of neurodegenerative illnesses, counting AIDS-associated dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Down’s syndrome, as well as for the treatment of schizophrenia and myoclonus.4 An expeditious synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrano[c]chromene derivatives via the condensation reaction of 4-hydroxycoumarin with a good range of arylaldehydes and malononitrile will be described. This greener process was catalyzed by using of 1- methylimidazolium tricyanomethanide as a nano structure molten salt, and proceeds efficiently in the absence of any organic solvent under ambient temperature, short reaction time and high yields
