Abstract

In this paper, distribution of current and voltage of the coil turns in induction heating process has been studied numerically using finite element method (FlexPDE package). In the first case, values and distribution of current and voltage of the turns calculated for different heights of the workpiece. In the second case, distribution of current and voltage in the coil turns computed with presence of the work piece with various radiuses. The results show that the distribution of current and voltage is not uniform in the coil turns.
