This study investigated the probable relationship among Iranian EFL learners' Listening comprehension with intercultural sensitivity, intercultural competence, and attitude towards target language community. To this end, 120 male and female learners from private language institutes in Khuzestan and Hamedan provinces were selected from the available intermediate classes. The participants were required, initially, to complete the following questionnaires in one session: The Intercultural Sensitivity Scale (ISS), the Intercultural Competence questionnaire, and the Attitude towards Target Language Community questionnaire. Their administration took about 60 minutes. Then listening section of IELTS exam was used the administration of which took about 60 minutes. The results indicated that there is a positive significant correlation between intercultural sensitivity and listening comprehension of Iranian EFL learnersand that there exists a statistically significant relationship between learners’ listening comprehension and intercultural competence. There is also positive significant relationship between attitude towards target language community and listening comprehension. Furthermore among intercultural competence, intercultural sensitivity, and attitude towards target language community, intercultural competence is a stronger predictor of Iranian EFL learners’ listening comprehension. The results of this study may convince practitioners in the field to recognize intercultural competence as more crucial component of listening comprehension.
