The member of families Bdellidae and Cunaxidae (Snout mites) are considered predatory and cosmopolitan mites belonging to order Trombidiformes. In this study, the specimens were extracted from soil and litter under some stone fruit trees such as apricot and wild almond, Hamedan region, Hamedan Province, Iran, by using Tullgren funnels during 2014-2015. The mites were directly mounted on microscope slides in Hoyer’s medium. The slides were dried in an oven at about 50 °C and examined under an Olympus BX51 microscope. In this survey, four bdellid and cunaxid species belonging to four genera were collected and identified (all collected specimens determined as new species for mite fauna).
