Abstract

A new species of BrachytydeusThor, 1931 (senior synonym of Lorryia Oudemans, 1925 sensu Kaźmierski), Brachytydeus persiaensis n. sp.,is described and illustrated. It was collected from peach orchards soil in Shendabad, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.
