Eryngiopus langroudiensis n. sp. (Acari: Stigmaeidae) is described and illustrated, based on females col-lected fromsoil under citrus trees and on citrus leaves in the cities of Langroud, Chaboksar andVajargan, Guilanprovince, Iran. The citrus trees where this species was found were also infested by pest mites Panonychus citri (McGregor), Brevipal-pus obovatus Donnadieu and by scale insects.
