In this study, Protogamasellopsis rhizoglyphusi sp. nov., the tenth species of the genus Protogamasellopsis, is collected and described from Iran, based on the stages of larva, protonymph, deutonymph and adult female. It was collected from soil and litter under Gladiolus communis L. which was infested with Rhizoglyphus echinopus and R. robini. A key to the world species of the genus Protogamasellopsis is provided.
