present study was conducted to investigate the impact of Transactional Analysis (TA) group therapy on conflict resolution and hope. A quasi-experimental design with pretest / posttest approach to evaluation process without a control group was adopted. The statistical population included all participants in TA group therapy sessions held periodically by the researcher. Of this population, using purposive sampling, 28 participants were selected in three groups. The TA group training sessions were performed in four months and 16 sessions. To collect the actual data, the Conflict Resolution Questionnaire (CRQ) and Snyder’s Hope Scale were used. A paired t-test was applied to data analysis and interpretation of the results thereof. The results indicated a significantly constructive impact of TA group training on conflict resolution in the patients (p < 0.05). However, such significant impact was not found in the subscales of conflict resolution and hope. Overall, the results indicate that TA group analysis improves conflict resolution kills in patients.
