Introduction: The impact of muscle weakness on functional ability is greater in subjects with high varus or valgus range of motion than those with lower ranges (1). The purpose of the present study was to investigate EMG activity of selected lower limb muscles during gait analysis in children and adolescents with pathological varus and valgus alignment of the knee and healthy control subjects.
