Interfacial tension (IFT) plays an important role in mass and heat transfer particularly in extraction process [1]. Concerning tangible lack of investigations about the influence of ionic liquids (ILs); this article is focused on the IFT variation in the presence of the ILs, which demonstrate excellent surface/interface activity due to their amphiphilic structure. A majority of recent literatures are focused on the properties of “imidazolium” ILs, which are environmentally friendly fluids and behave as green solvents or surfactant [2].
