چکیده

Background: Overweight and obesity are significant risk factors for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, a condition on the rise globally. Strategies such as regular physical activity, which effectively improves non-alcoholic fatty liver disease without weight reduction, are needed. Additionally, Creatine (Cr) is a popular supplement recommended for its ergogenic aid. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the combined effects of swimming exercise and Creatine supplementation on the expression of LXR alpha and liver aminotransferases .levels in obese rats Methodology: In this research, male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to five groups (50 l assessment included the gene expression of LXR alpha using the Real-Time PCR technique. Blood samples from the rats were also tested for alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and .aspartate aminotransferase (AST) liver levels Result: Results indicated a significant increase in ALT and LXR alpha gene expression levels in the HFD, HFD+Cr, and HFD+TR groups compared to the CON group. Conversely, the HFD+TR and HFD+Cr+TR groups showed a significant decrease in ALT and AST levels compared to the HFD group. Moreover, relative gene expression levels of LXR alpha significantly decreased in .the HFD and HFD+Cr groups compared to the CON group Conclusion: Swimming Exercise and Creatine Supplementation improve the metabolic reaction in liver by reducing ALT and LXR alpha gene expression
