Schiff base complexes have remained an important and popular area of research due to their simple synthesis, versatility and diverse range of applications [1]. Piperazine is a well-known building block for novel supramolecular structures due to the presence of two weakly held terminal amino protons [2]. We have designed and synthesized a new polyamine and related Schiff base macroacyclic ligands. These Schiff-base ligands and their complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR and EI-Mass.
