In this paper we study the lifetime of coherent systems with dependent components and obtain the system reliability function of such systems. Next, the system reliability function of coherent systems under random shocks are investigated and then we provide sufficient conditions on the distributions of components’ lifetimes and the generator of the Archimedean copula and on the random shocks for comparing the lifetimes of two systems with respect to the usual stochastic order.
