In this work, bismuth (Bi) nanowires were successfully prepared by electrodeposition method using polycarbonate template. The fabrication of Bi nanowires was controlled by analyzing the current-time transient during electrodeposition using potentiostat. The morphological properties of the nanowires were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Each nanowire had the same length of ≈4 μm and a diameter of 90 nm.X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) showed that Bi grows in rhombohedral lattice structures.
