Abstract

Magnesium (Mg) alloys are lightweight materials with excellent mechanical properties, making them ideal for aerospace, automotive, and biomedical applications. However, their application is limited due to high susceptibility to corrosion, particularly in saline environments. Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is an effective method for enhancing the anti-corrosive properties of Mg alloys by forming protective oxide coatings
