Abstract

La-doped Ni10Cu11Fe6Al alloy as a metallic inert anode was used in molten salt calcium chloride at 900 °C in FFC Cambridge process for titanium oxide electrolysis. Corrosion behavior and the surface heterogeneity of the anode was investigated before and after the electrolysis by Scanning Electron Microscopy and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.
